Those who are curious about ABA, have concerns about it, want to ask questions, are starting out their ABA journey, setting up their home for it, wondering about resources, and so on. ReplyDeleteHi Anja. I would like to join the secret group on ABA. How can I join?
ReplyDeleteHi Sonya, it's a private group. I would need to know more about your circumstances before admitting you. You can msg me privately.
DeleteHi Sharon. Thank you for your prompt reply. We are eager to begin ABA therapy for our 3 yr old son who is high functioning.
DeleteWe are located in Melbourne - eastern suburbs and have trouble finding a junior ABA therapist. We hope this private group will connect us with therapists or other parents in a similar situation.
I can't find how to message you privately on here. Can you please advise? Maybe we can connect via email or Facebook.
Many thanks.
Hi Sonja, as you'll note this post was written in 2011, we have since graduated out of formal ABA, the the original group was disbanded and there is now another for families ho's children have moved into school years. There are members of the group however I can ask for help with contacting therapists in Melbourne.
DeleteYou can message me at revive@iinet.net.au or find me on FB. I'll ask in the group and get back to you.
Hi Sonja, most people agree universities are great places to find junior therapists. Students doing OT. Speech and Psych are always good. Have you been to ABAI?
