I came across this presentation on Youtube by Ass. Professor Ricardo Dolmetsch today. It is movie length at 90 minutes and I admit to not having seen the full speech yet. I can so far speak for the first 40 minutes, which provides an easy to understand insight into current (well 2009) science in psychiatry, genetics and neurobiology looking at Autism. Usually I wouldn't bother to link to such a lengthy talk but I found many aspects of this interesting and informative. So if you have had a hankering to get out to the movies lately but are housebound, put the kettle on or pop the cork on a bottle of wine and settle in for a thought provoking hour or so. Lecture starts about 5 minutes in.
